First there was Fantasy Football, then there was Dream Team and now there’s Vodafone HomeCoach. If you’re totally addicted to The Voice and think you’re pretty good at predicting talent, then why not turn your couch into a big red chair and build your team alongside Joel, Delta, Seal and Ricky. The game is super simple and there are heaps of ways to earn points throughout the season. You can easily compare your score with your competition, just head over to the Leaderboard and see how you’re ranking.
Here are a few tips and tricks on how to play Home Coach.
Blinds
Just like the coaches press a big red button and spin around in their chairs, during the Blind Auditions you’ll be able to press a big red button on your screen. If you like what you hear, all you need to do is press the button and add the Artist to your team. If a Coach adds the Artist too, you will score extra points.
Battles
During the Battles, you need to predict which Artist the Coach is most likely to take through to the next round. Durning this round, you’ll be able to see the live predications on your TV screen during the show and you’ll earn points for each correct prediction. If the Coah pisks an Artist that’s on your HomeCoach team you’ll score bonus points.
This season, there’s an added twist, if an artist doesn’t win their battle, then one of the Coach’s will have the opportunity to save one Artist from another Team. If a Coach saves an Artist on your Vodafone HomeCoach team, you’ll be awarded extra points. After each Battle, you’ll be able to vote and say whether you would have saved the Artist, if you predict correctly, you’ll be awarded with extra bonus points.
Showdown and Sing Offs
New to this season of The Voice are the Showdowns which provide another great chance to score points. To boost your score in this round, you’ll need to correctly predict which Artists will receive the highest number of votes from the public.
You’ll have to make the prediction during the episode, however the points won’t be awarded until voting is closed and the outcome is revealed. If the winning Artist is on your team you’ll receive bonus points.
Live Finals
During each of the Finals episodes you’ll choose the Artist you think will receive the most public votes and get the chance to predict which Artist the Coaches will take to the final.
Grand Final
This is the last chance to earn points so make sure you tune in to watch the Grand Final. To earn points you’ll’ll need to choose who you think will win the competition.
What if there’s a Tie breaker…
So what happens if at the end of season there are multiple people with the same score? If you find yourself as one of these lucky people, you’ll be asked to tell us in 25 words or less your “Favourite moment of The Voice Season 2 and why”. So remember to take note of all of the exciting moments throughout the season, if your submission is judged to be the most creative and original, you’ll be jetting to LA with a friend to watch the Grand Final of The Voice US.
